I took this shot at dusk with a long exposure to give a foggy look to the water in the stream. I dropped the saturation of red and yellow so the trees in the top left were essentially gray to prevent the eye from moving up there and keeping the image looking blue. I placed the rocks near the bottom third for composition and used a wide angle for the perspective. I also darkened it some to make it moody.

Ithaca Falls yay! I grew up in tiny Groton NY and graduated from Cornell. I used to visit these falls. I live in Ohio now so it's nice to see a piece of home. Nice perspective & cool border. 7
