Sundown on the Waterfront

Taken late in the day, with the sun setting behind me, the haze in the background is from a bush fire on Fraser Island.

I see perspective in this image, re the size of the huge tree, against the people in the background, so this really worked for me in this challenge in a differant way, that most would see and use, re perspective. Well done and I liked this one.....

such beautiful light, and a striking composition that dares to be very big and very small as needed. 9

I am not sure about the "perspective" aspects of this shot. It does not grab me in this regard. It is, however, a great shot otherwise.

Love the colors and the tiny people. Great perspective shot. Back to bump you up to 8.

The strong colors really balance the perspective in this one.....
Nice use of light and shade as well.
I also like how the tree is dividing the two figures in the image, each going there seperate ways.....
All the best in this challenge.

This is awesome. The small people and the distant causeway give such importance to the tree. The lighting and colors are beautiful. There is part of something in the lower right, an old well perhaps, that is distracting. I want to see more of it, but I understand that might detract from the rest of the shot.

I really like the colours. Awsome shot! I would have probably liked it more if there were no people or dogs in the background though...

nice shot, but where is the dramatic effect?
