| Well posed and composed. The lighting makes the subject seem too light in contrast with the dark background. But that's a minor point; this photo expresses solitude very well. |

| Great color, great DOF, she's all alone in the photo, but the photographer is in clear view of her, not sneaking up... she's not all alone. But without judgement on that note, you can see the message well, esp if this was a poster in a store! |

Nice colours and good composition, in terms of model and her position within environment. What I don't like is the brightness of yellows coming through the gaps in the darkened foliage behind her - competes a little with the beautiful highlight in her hair and the dynamic foreground colours of green and blue.
I like her pose though and the slightly blown out lighting on her skin works for me.
She looks contemplative though I'm not sure I'd really conclude that's she's alone if I were to see this image outside of the challenge. |

| I think this is a beautiful image. Very peaceful which evokes solitude for me. The lighting is excellent, as are the colors. A nice contrast of warm and cool tones. The human element really adds to the feeling of the image. Well done. 9 |

| She looks like she belongs to this wood. It's a good match. Just for fun, maybe put her in an old peasant type costume, since this is a challenge near holloween. Good image as it is though. |

| This is a lovely shot. I like how the light filters through the shadows and the colors of the leaves behind your subject become the same auburn color as her hair (almost a halo affect) while the green leaves at the top of the page balance the color at the bottom. With such fair skin and the brightness of her blue jeans, she really her stands out against the backdrop. What I like most though is the expression on her face and what I'm assuming is a flower in her hand..."He loves me...he loves me not..." I hope "he" loves her. :-) |

| Nice picture, the model has beautiful hair and warm light is just adding more color. Good setting and composition, maybe I'd crop the blurry part of the bottom. |
