The title refers to how those 2 trees in the middle seem to be holding each other, as if they are watching the sunset together...

When people ask me if the Sigma lens I used here is any good, this is one shot I show them. Every time I look at the large version of this I am blown away by how sharp it is & how well controlled the flares are given the fact that this is a relatively inexpensive zoom lens.

This was the first lens I had for my old *ist DL & though I don't use it much anymore (given my collection of primes), I can't bring myself to sell it because it really has given me some great images.

Thank you! This is one of my own personal favorites - I use it as a desktop/wallpaper on one of my computers. Except for the duo-tone treatment, I didn't have to do anything to it. It was amazingly sharp & noise free right out of the camera.

Yes, I could see right away that I was going to be in for quite an experience by committing to enter challenges here at DPC. There's phenomenal talent here that I'm hoping will rub off on me!

Thanks again for the generous comment!
