| Very nice image! I love the color of the sky it has a nice richness to it. The sun rays/lighting is great - I like the rays coming outward, wish the sky was just a little brighter though. Silhouettes are always a favorite of mine. I think compositionally the photo is good, though I would suggest trying to get it with only the scraggly trees in it. The leaf-filled tree in the bottom left pulls away from the pristine silhouette. Other than that, I think its fantastic. 7 |

| I think this is a great image - I love the silhouette and flare from the sun - image clarity is strong - I can't find anything I don't like about it... Well done! :-) |

| The three rays are nice and lead the eye to the sun, which is nicely framed by the trees and clouds. So the sun is clearly the center of interest here, but you can't really see it and it isn't that interesting; it's just bright. Of course, that is the main characteristic of the sun, and that is the main message I get from this image. Perfect for the challenge! |

| The trees are very sharp and contrast nicely against the blue sky. The ground is not just the usual straight line so it holds some interest as well, esp as it seems to dip just below the sun as it breaks through the clouds. The three shafts or light flare, which in other shots can be annoying actually works very well in this image. The mood is set and it's a very uplifting photograph. Nicely spotted and taken. |
