 shot at sequoia national park in southern california. i used my friend jason (jasonpr is his username here) as a model in this shot. i planned on it being a panoramic shot with an offset subject, but was pleasantly surprised that the mountains and the rock in the foreground lined up well to mimic each other's curves.

just cropped and tinted this one slightly. im really happy with it.

Nice distance and use of space. Really gets both a feeling of solitude and loneliness. I like the silhouette aspect. The lighting is great and the different tones add interest. Very nice. 7

This is my favourite picture of the week; it is great! The use of light, the silhouettes, the scenery and the composition all add to the feeling of the 'lone wanderer'. (8)

The shot gives off a felling of vastness. The silhouette of the person does give off a feeling of "alone". Very serene and peaceful scene. Calming. I don't know about the framing choice. "10"
