First i had to think about what objects have spots or which give spots. I spend most of my time in the art department and i thought of paint, i first got two mirror panels, some black fabric and paint to flick over the mirror also some lighting. With this photo i tried to create a sunset in the background by shining the light of one mirror onto the one with paint. Then i just edited the photo by increaing the contrast and saturation; and decreasing the brightness.

The photo is a bit too small to see very well.

Needs to be larger -- use the full 640 pixel maximum dimension.

bit small

This is just too small for me to tell, I do like the colors and it does cause an emotional response :)

Consider a larger photo next time - can't see well.

Try this tutorial . It will show how to get images ready for challenges, namely at the full file size and and image size. Many photos get mrked down not on the quality of the photo but how it is presented.

there is no way I can tell if this is a good photo when it is so small - read the tutorial on resizing for DPC and good luck witht the next challenge

Wow. That's quite a small photo.

I can't determine what this is and it's hard to judge the shot because it's small.
11/18/2006 03:30:39 AM
Far too small to really view effectively. Sorry
11/17/2006 09:32:36 AM
unfortunately - the image is a little small to see the great colors
11/16/2006 08:37:49 PM
Maybe a nice shot but unfortunately too small to recognize ;) Looks as if you have some issues with resizing. Look at this tutorial //www.dpchallenge.com/tutorial.php?TUTORIAL_ID=26
Lots of people will vote quite low because of the size - don't feel discouraged, better luck next time!

Why so small? I cant make out anything.
11/16/2006 01:54:19 PM
make sure to make the picture 640 pixels on an edge if possible. That will certainly raise your score. On my 1900x1200 screen the picture is literally the size of two stamps.

why so small? hard to make out the details ...

Too small..

You are probably going to get a lot of comments about how small this shot is. However, I do think it meets the challenge well and I like the colors.

Picture is too small for me to determine exactly what it is???
11/15/2006 12:37:43 PM
The image is very small, which does make it hard to critique. That said, it is very 'busy' without any aparant areas of sharpness or focus.

too small
