If by some chance someone should actually like what I have done here and care to know I how I achieved it... I'm afraid I have no earthly idea. I did so many things to it I would not know where to begin. I know I started by doubling the pixel size, then creating a background layer. On the new layer I applied a dry brush filter and merged the two. I adjusted levels, applied a tone curve, etc... added the flare effects to the lights, downsized and sharpened, then selectively sharpened the actors. Or something like that.

Yes, taking notes is definitely a must once you come across something you like. I tend to experiment a lot in a very free form manner before bothering to document anything.

Hey, I really like it. 8) The same thing happens to me all the time -- I tweak and tweak and tweak and tweak, and all of a sudden, there's something I like, and I can never do it again. 8( Moral of the story -- enjoy the moment but keep notes!
