Boy, I was suuuuuure missing advanced editing on this one! I realized when I got back to work after shooting it that my camera had been left on 1600 ISO!!!! Yikes. I would so have LOVED to clean up the water and some spot editing of the noise on his feathers -- buttttttt -- I'm glad it didn't get totally killed anyway (thanks everyone for that!),

And I am now officially on a "bird sabbatical" No more birds for a while for challenges so I can "study" other things :) I wasn't even planning this one -- but I passed it on my lunch hour, and it was too hard to resist knowing this challenge was going on and I didn't have opportunity for anything else.

Cool shot. I went to my zoo trying to get a shot like this. I would have been very happy if I could have come close to this.

What a beautifully photographed Egret. I thought it would have scored much higher as these little guys are not easy to expose for.

Beautiful. A wall hanger for sure. If I had tp pick on something, it would be the white spot on the beak.

Great reflection shot. Unfortunately, on my monitor the lighting looks a bit flat.

Wow this is cool in so many ways... I love that the beaks touch, the tail touches and the legs touch but the feet are on the belly too.
