I think this shot has been harshly judged. It's got some lovely, smooth tones and an intriguing composition. Its size is not a major benefit but it's still pretty.
Composition could benefit from being more off-centre. |

| Interesting. Almost doesn't look like a lightbulb. Kind of looks like a shell. Great light and the color is very pleasing. I gave you a 7. |

| Where? I've looked at this shot several times and each time I get a little dizzy from the way the circles go around but have yet been able to define the lightbulb itself, unless it's a reflection of one and I'm missing that. It's also a bit on the small side, hard to really see what's going on. I started with a 3 but am going to bump to a 4 and will probably be back again. |

| The composition is very interesting. A lot of neat circular shapes. Good contrast brings out the blacks. |

| Hrm.. a nice rendition of a light bulb. I like the vantage point it is taken from, I also like the over all neutral color tone of the image. I do wish it was larger though, I think detail is lost due to its size - this factor had a negative impact for me. I like the soft focus on the bulb, giving it a nice glow instead of the regular harshness - I think it also helps make it more interesting than it would be if it was in complete focus. 7 |

| If you hadn't titled this, I wouldn't have guessed. Cool abstract and color, but the image is really too small to see well. |
