Why can neon be art ? Well, why not :)

Shot right at twilight to get the deep blue sky background. Tungsten-ish white balance to further enhance that contrast with the blue/ red/ white sign. Tweaked the exposure and contrast a bit to finish.

Long exposure, rotating the lens zoom and focus to create the stepping effect. Lowest ISO and highest aperture, to give a longer exposure.
