Right now I am in the middle of a 120+ semi-truck Load in for the Rolling Stone and got off work early and saw this challenge and was going to clean up first and take something but wanted to go with some sort of environmental SP, so here you go. Shot quickly, and edited on my girlfriend's laptop so very little adjustments, and mostly working with a histogram with levels, a curve, gradient map set to luminosity and faded. Also some cloning since the lens was wide open it got some abberration around the cigarette and around my right shoulder. Her monitor is way off so I hope every thing is close to how i want it, besides the update button is cool! This is my tribute to Larus in an hour flat.

Heh. I thought that was you! Great job capturing yourself in your "work" guise. :) And the Larus tribute - priceless!

If you turned sideways, it could be a Beatles album cover. ;-)
Great job, Joe!

Good down to earth capture without frills to accent the gait of a worker. Bump.

Seems a bit more like a life study than a self portrait. Good use of DOF.

Snapshot quality, does nto look like much thought was put behind this, although it meets the challenge effectively, it lacks interest enough for me to come back to it or think it would be placed in an album or on a wall.

Seems to be some issue with exposure. There is no definition in the blacks that you are wearing. More light, provided from a fill flash would easily balance this off. Consider a tighter crop, less distractions from the cars in the background. Perhaps a scene of putting the tools away, rather than just walking up the street.

Score: 2

And he's just a rolling stone.... Cool shot, but I definitely wouldn't want to run into you in a dark alley or a bright one for that matter. :-)

Like the walk - very much your style of walking - and since it strikes me as such, there must be other pictures of you walking or how would I know this? Like the hammer - nice touch. Mostly like the down the middle of the road directness.

This one has a little Larus effect :o) a little different model though - it really looks like you are coming home from work without knowing anything about the camera :o)well done, nice details :o)
