Just pointed camera, took the shot, cropped and desaturised. No sharpening, or anything else. Took half a dozen different faces, all were ugly. So chose this one. A tad of sharpening.

This is very differnt. I have to be honest though, the light by his right ear is a bit distracting. I think this photo's concept is very unique though.
This is by far one of the best self portraits in the challenge. It takes a real person, a real character, a real spirit, to submit something like this. You gotta love it.
