Found this young lady smoking wacky just outside the Natural History Museum on the banks of the Ottawa River, directly opposite Parliament Hill on a class trip. Thought it quite the contrast so I broke away from the group and talked to her. I told her what I was all about and I snapped a few pictures.

Got her e-mail and I'll be sending it.

Fantastic shot, I love the PP, and wondering if you can share the details with me/us!?

Very clever Mr Lawrence. The dazed and unfocused works a treat with these and the timing from one frame (inhale) to the next (exhale)is spot on.

If you skate, you definitely have to check out the Rideau Canal in late January to the end of February. I used to skate that all the time. Great Zen experience, especially at 3:00am! Photo opps galore. I went on my first date with my wife skating on the canal. She pretended she was a bad skater so she could hold my hand. :-)

Oh ya, cool shot. ;-)

Now how's that for a spontaneous series. Great stuff. From the thumbnail I thought she was giving the finger to all those damn canadians.

Well done. I've started to capture some textures here and there to overlay but haven't hit any stride worth keeping. Two attempts isn't much but I'll catch the fever sooner than later. Cheers!
