This is certainly a fun photo to look at. Not really sure how it fits as a portrait. Seems more like a candid or snapshot kind of image IMO. Subject is a bit distant and small for a true portrait and this allows the surrounding areas to be a distraction in this busy scene. All JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge.

The idea is great; I just wish there were more light on the male figure.

Back to comment: Sorry but this is more of a candid than a portrait in my opinion. The background is very cluttered and the crop indicates that you weren't ready for this event to happen. Your image would benefit from post processing work using levels or curves to bring out the couple better.

Just a little too dark. Otherwise, nice.

Is it a portrait or a candid? Up for interpretation. It is a lovely shot. Nice lighting and good use of the landscape orientation.

Would of liked to have seen more detail in the groom...he's a bit like a black shape! Everything else is excellent!
