| Gorgeous shot. Great work with light. I don't think the vignette was necessary here. I would have preferred to see the blue carry on to the edges of the frame, however, it doesn't lessen the fact that this is a stunning image, well worth a ribbon. |

| This is a lovely photo, I'm sure it will do very well. For me, the top of the head being cut off is such a flaw. I know it is the "style" for portaits now but I don't like it. |

| Great eye. I like the lighting too. You might get hits from some purists because it appears to be more of a studio type shot, than outside in a truly "windy" environment. |

This certainly is striking. You've nailed the lighting, the colurs and the comp.

| Though I do not do portraits myself, I have great appreciation when they are done well and this is the case here. I would challenge anyone to dismiss this from being a ribbon contender. I'd say this is one of only a handful of images I've every given a 9 and it deserves it. I hope you enjoy the blue ribbon! |
