Wow! It is like the subject is morphing from leaves to person. Bump.

great chaotic feel of the wind -- just wish that leaf on subject's face wasn't covering so much -- b&w a good choice here

Delightful, happy, fun shot! Just a pity the leaf obscures her face so, but ya can't predict where those little buggers are going to fly :)

Nice idea, I like the motion blur of the leaves and the pose of the woman with the umbrella. Too bad a leaf obscures her face, seeing her face would really make the shot. Looks like backfocus, consider trying manual focus with all this movement.

The only thing keeping this image from good to great is 1 leaf and unfortunatley there's not alot you can do. I'm left really wishing I could see her face and smile. 7
Ah nuts... it's great enough. Bumping to 8.

This is a wonderful shot! Only complaint is the one leaf that covers her face, but there isn't much you could do about that.

I feel frustrated that I can't see her face, but I really like this photo a lot. Very playful, well composed, & nice tonal range. Thanks!

Interesting seeing leaves, that the mind knows are in color, in B/W. I can understand your decision (eliminate bg or blown sky) and it works quite well. Your photo is sharp, well focused, and is amazingly deep (focus goes all the to the parking lot). Not sure if this was contrived or not, don't really care, it's a nicely done image. Kudos! Best of luck to you in the challenge.

A fun shot - I like the blurred leaves that leave just enough of her face and smile.

Terrific. The effect of the wind is well shown, with plenty of stationary stuff to 'anchor' us to reality.

Meets challeng 1/1
Focus is on challenge subject 1/1
Creativity 2/3
Technical 2/2
Composition 1/2
New idea/technique 0/1

Extra/less points: +1 Taking an overused photo (girl with umbrella and leaves) and making it new (blury leaves)

I'm sure you're getting this a lot, but that one leaf on the face is distracting. I either want see the entire face or see none of it, not part of it.
