Just a vines with some leaves lying on the grass. I though the color contrast was very vivid. Several people came by and asked me if I was ok, since I was trying to get the right angle and ended up on my stomach in the grass, for about half an hour. Heh, I inadvertantly ended up with an out of focus fore and background.

*Note - There is no editing, and I'm not sure why the edges of the leaves have the psycadelic look.

The leaves should be in focus, not the grass. Nice colours otherwise.

the leaves are not in focus and I don't see a central point for this photo

Not what I would consider boken, to much detail in the boken areas

Had you shifted the focus and gone sharp on the leaves and blurry on the grass you may have had a better picture. But as it is this just feels like a photo taken by accidentally hitting the shutter while the camera was on the ground.

This photo meets the challenge and has bokeh, but it's a rather boring image to look at. There's nothing of subjective interest to me in the photo. What are you trying to show me?

It appears you intend the grass to be your subject here?

I'm afraid that the blurred portion is really only distracting in this instance. There's no clearly defined subject here, and I wouldn't have known these were red leaves had it not been for the title.
