The bird is perfect; I might like it even better without the bright spots toward the left/bottom.

The bokeh is very nice and adds a great deal of contrast to the image, but it 'overshines' the bird in the foreground too much.

The light circles right around the head (just above and on neck) almost take away from the image by making the subject appear blurred. The subject is in focus if I stare straight on at it, but the belly and head don't really do well with the circles so close to them.

A touch tight on the crop, but this has the typical circles in the background and it works quite well. I wish that the bird could have a touch more highlight on him, but the focus is good and the background is what DPCers love in a bokeh image. 7
