Nice shot. Nice crisp focus on the flower.

A classic bokeh shot executed masterfully. An enjoyably different crop decision.

would have been made perfect if the bokeh elements were a complementary color to the color of the flower. definitely meets the challenge requirements.

The Bokeh here is nice. However, for me, it doesn't match the subject. I think it is the colors that seem to fight against each other - the warm, earthy tones of the background just don't seem to work with the cool, electric color of the flower. The image is cropped tightly on the right, a little too tightly, to justify all the space on the left. The subject is perfectly sharp and the lighting of the subject is well done.

The focus on the flower is good. A touch tight on the crop on the right. The bokeh is beautiful but the cool tones of the carnation don't compliment the warm tones of the background, although I love the huge circular sense of it. It's like the colors don't go together, if that makes sense. If the bloom were yellow, or orange - it would be more of a harmonious palette overall (to my eye).

Ilove the pretty coloured circles but the softer colour of the flower clashes,I would like to see a more dramatic flower in this setup.

Ohmygosh. This is beautiful! Thank you! I'm finding most of the entries in this challenge very uninspiring. . .what a refreshing surprise to be Wow'd immediately on impact with this stunning photo! So far, this would definitely be my pick for a blue ribbon! 10

Neat bokeh...how'd you do that?

can't see why the flower is cropped at right. nice bokeh somehow, but on the other hand looks unreal. color combination is not appealing

Not sure how you got the color of the "circles of confusion" but, it doesn't seem to compliment the flower to me. Idea and execution seem to be done very well just the colors keep me from putting it up higher.
