 Decided to just go out and shoot with my new lens. This cormorant bent over when i had the camera aimed at him, and, thinking he was going to fly, had my finger trembling on the shutter, ready to click at the first sign of movement. The movement came, but flight didn\'t.

Taken with the 200mm 2.8L, and a 2x teleconverter.

Editing:
Cloned out a tiny black mark (sensor dust?)

So that's what it looks like in action :-) I'm pretty sure I see him squinting his eyes to eek it out... Nicely captured!!

Ten ones... number 2's would have been more fitting. I still get a kick out of this one every time I see it and I stand by my 8, timing is everything.
