 I spotted them down the river but the lighting was not right. It took a few moments until the sun hit them just the right way. They were rowing pretty fast and I got maybe a whole 5 shots before they were gone in the morning fog. For me, this photo was worth that trip.

Looks like that KM 5D is fitting you well! :D This is a very lovely shot. I love the silhouette of the rowers and the steam coming up off the water. Wonderful two-tone (natural it appears) photo. Nicely done.

That cold morning was so worth it -- - this is one of my favorite photos and my personal best.

Yes it was (worth the trip)! This remains one of my favorites in this whole beautiful challenge!

Looks to me like a few jealous trolls thought this picture was a real threat, so the ridiculous votes of 1, 2, 3 or 4???? It's so blatantly undeserving that you almost have to laugh at them, huh?
