 Well, I was desperate to get out and take some landscape shots but decided thats what everyone else would do, so breakfast it is! Am really apprehensive about entering this but its all about learning and hopefully thats what I will do :o)

Slight crop for composition

First lesson: Only people in the UK have baked beans for breakfast!

Second lesson: Try and go out and buy a newspaper next time rather than using an old one from my travels to the US!!

I really like this whole setup. Colors are good, DOF is good, composition is good...I'd have EASILY given this a 8..

I like the tilt. Of course, I've been accused of being "off-balance" anyway. :) I think it adds "drama" and interest to the shot. :)

The focus is good and the lighting is good. I had no idea people ate baked beans for breakfast. So the picture was educational as well.

Wish I could offer something that would explain only a 5.5, but I'm not sure that I can. Good work.

I liked the set up here and thought the tilt was very effective. Gave it that bit'o'flair. Knew this had to be by a pom too ;) Hubby went off to London last year, and aside from going on about the great curries, he couldn't stop raving about the breakfasts!! :D

I like the camera tilt, nice composition.

Overall seems dingy - needs more white, like the background dodged all the way to white maybe - the saturation could be pushed too - I think the food would be more appetizing I think.

Beans for breakfast? One I haven't tried before! It does look good though!
