The morning after? Lighting could be better. Focus is OK.

More lighting may have helped this shot--would give you the chance to capture more detail.

lighting isnt great, the focus seems off and the background acts as a distraction, not really sure what you were going for with this shot.

I may be missing something here, but I don't really see the 'point' of this photo - perhaps it's a cultural thing and I'm completely missing the relevance of the bottle tops?

OK, I have to admit I'm a bit at a loss for words, which is completely foreign to me. ;) I always think of free studies as opportunities to show your best work, regardless of theme...but I find it difficult to believe this is the best image you have shot in a month. The randomness and spontaneous nature of shots like this can work sometimes, but this time, I think it's working against you. This image lacks focus, color adjustment (white balance is off), and a clear focal point. Of course, I don't know the back story or why this image is important to you, and if I did, then I might have a different perspective and understand your motive as a photographer a bit better. What exactly are you communicating to the viewers with this image? What do you want people to see, feel, hear, smell, taste? Maybe I'm overly analytical...or maybe I'm just blind.

Seems a tad to much red tones in this one...

I'll give you a 7 for taking the most un-DPC picture I've ever seen. Hope I don't screw up your brown ribbon attempt...

Looks like the kitchen table after a fun family night :)
There are a few technical areas this photo could be improved upon. 1. the white balance, the photo has a harsh yellow cast, the colors too warm. 2. the verticals aren't straight. Would like to see straight verticals on this kind of image. 3. There seems to be some slight motion blur. Either you can bump up the ISO or use a tripod if your cam has too much noise at those setting.
