You get a Jimmie hug (ummm... if ya are a female that is... a firm handshake if ya are male) It is all about those webs. They act as an anchor for the entire pic. Yep.... it is about the webs. |

Sorry about the grass and lighting and colors... nature set them there. I will look for the exact same image in some fantasy world where all the colors are bright and purdy... |

Thank you!!!! They won't. I didn't do enough "layering" and "shadowing" and "masking" and such.... I didn't make this image all sharp and negative grayscale...(is that even a option???"

| Very appropriate interpretation of the challenge. In the DPC world, this could probably use some more drastic post processing to add "depth" or shadow or something (I've not figured it out yet). |

As someone who almost went to Vietnam, but was one year too young, and who lost too many friends, this moves me in a deep way.

The boots, flags, and hat all give us a good indication of who this person is without actually seeing them. Great shot! On the technical side, I wish the shot was dimmer... perhaps lowering the brightness and making it a bit more gloomy. |
