Arum Lilly collected from the Swan Valley. South African native plant considered a weed here in Western Australia.

Shot against a black backdrop and lit with a reading lamp. Rotated, cropped, increased saturation of the yellows, auto colour, decreased brightness and increased contrast slightly, resized, added border, mild USM.

Wow...lovely! I would have liked a little more square crop with a bit more black surrounding the bloom...however that is personal taste. This is very well done.

This was one of my favorites in this challenge, beautiful exposure, congrats on the top 10 finish, Will make a beautiful print! I was interested to see that it is considered a weed in Australia, I am originally from Zimbabwe and South Africa and we saw lots of these, yellow ones too among some others.

Very Nice DOF, Tack Sharp, Nice Color and contrast. Lighting looks very artificial a bit warmer and you would get more of a natural look. Great Job 9.
