 Last minute to the fullest (After 11:xx PM deadline night). Didn't turn out like I expected and I don't like this shot at all - but since it is so late I'm gonna enter it anyway. Lighting is horrible and the focus isn't where I want it. Overall a crappy effort on my part and deserve to get hammered with low scores on this one. If you've ever tried the reverse lens method you know how stupid I was to attempt to get a good shot off with less than 1 hour to go until submission. I wanted something similar to my other image but different as well. I ended up with an extremely similar shot (which I didn't want) but I executed it much worse than my other.

I like macro shots like this. Nice use of shallow DOF, but I think it would be better if the focus was more on the compound eyes.
