Perhaps a little overblown on the left of the scales IMO. Great composition and like the floorboard colours

Great subject and I like the simple presentation. I wonder if a slightly different viewpoint would help avoid the corner shadow at the top right and whether a light reflector might help reduce shadows a touch to the right of the machine? Regardless, I do like the simplicity of what is presented and the wonderful patina of age.

you wouldn't think this would make for a great shot, but it sure does...the textures of the wood and the wall make all the difference, and the soft tones make for a very warm scene.

My son's doctor has an old scale like this in his office. He really cracked me up when he shouted he had 50 points. Wouldn't it be great if we were all measured in points?! The photo is great...just jogged my memory and put a smile to my face!!

I feel the area to the left of the scale is a little blown out. It also washes out the details from the left side of the scale as well. 5
