I'll echo others comments, but I would call it positive space. More upbeat, ya know? You are amazing with lighting! I love the Jack shots also! |

I really like your minimalist black and whites. They're full of rich contrast, and seem to always have something to say. In many of your self portraits, the focus is just a tad soft for me, as here. Now this may be a matter of style, and taste. And this one I like very much. If it were on the tack side of sharp, especially around your face, I would REALLY love this, and others. But other than that, I very much enjoy this, and the creative variety of all your self portraits. |

Nice job, Terry. Your expression really makes me feel that you are all alone and kind of down about it. The negative space really adds to this feel. |
