 I've been thinking of doing something like this from the beginning. No cigarettes around here, so I made one out of a straw wrapped in toilet paper. I lit it, blew it out, to create the "ash" on the end. Then I did a cut and paste of an image of smoke. I had color on my hair, so I just decided to be as unattractive as possible. LOL

This is great work. Absolutely love the concept, even if not a real ciggy :) The high key works so well, particularly with the half portrait crop... and a flawless job in pp I might add. May have to try something like this myself sometime...

The fake cigarette is killer - I never would have known. Great expression and use of half face. Terrific processing too. Well done.

Wrapped in toilet paper? Nah, you're supposed to use leaves. That's what we used to do... :-) Really a compelling shot on it's own, TP aside. And I get a kick out of the fact you take time to shoot a picture WHILE you've got color on your hair - isn't that supposed to be a timed sorta thing?
