I feel the use of an actual iron has been overused this contest. However, this is an EXCELLENT shot. Very well photographed, nice black background, and wrapping the cord adds enough to make it an interesting picture.
One extremely minor thing I see is the shine of the corner of something (?) in the bottom right corner.
It's not easy making an overused object stand out from the pack. Nice work!

| a subject been done a fair bit, but this is a well composed and executed shot. makes it stand out a little from all the other iron photos. |

| I like puns and I think your shot is well composed, well framed and well lit. I think, though, that too many people suggested using a iron in all the pre-voting discussions, so a few points off for originality. From a photographic standpoint (which is why we're here) however, I really like this. so points back on... :) |

| That iron looks well used! The photo is technically very good, the lighting is spot on. The border is simple and fitting. If it meets the challenge, that is a matter of opinion I guess - 7. |
