 This is a similar type of plant as an earlier submission of mine. It's not nearly as good a shot, but what the hey, sometimes you've just gotta give it a go. I think this looks a little oversharpened - but I've barely sharpened it at all, it's just a product of the way the light hit the plant.

I would like to have fixed all the speckles, but it would take forever to clone them all out.

I think this may appear a little flat - I was having trouble getting the colour right on my laptop so I went and looked at it on another monitor...on that screen it looked positively neon, so I de-saturated it quite a bit before submitting. Perhaps I went too far.

I like the idea of the leaf but it seems a touch flat to me. Nice symmetry and the focus is good. Maybe not enough lighting on this one. 6
