The sun was setting and I was standing at the end of the runway watching planes land. The plane was about 20 m above me when this photo was taken. The feeling I had was overwhelming. Such a power giant - I could almost reach out and touch it...

Thank you kindly for all your comments. This was one of the most fun photographing experiences ever. I love flying and planes. One day I will learn it too (when I get rich :-))

Great perspective. Southwest airlines would love this shot. I like the way the light plays over the fuselage and changes the color, but it is a touch too bright/neon lookking on the one side. Great shot though

Interesting colours and an unusual take on a familiar subject. I'd like to see the same shot rotated through 45 degrees which would give it a much greater sense of dynamism.

Wow. Bright colors. Maybe it's my perversness, but I'd like to see it upright. I really think it would have even more impact. Perhaps too obvious, but what the hey.

I could almost hear the roaring of the engine. Great closeup maybe too close. Beautiful lighting from the sunset/sunrise. Colors are very vibrant. Love the great contrast of the dark, bold shadows. Helps gives great depth to the plane. The skys' various blue hues also help to make the plane pop out of the shot.

Interesting perspective. Pretty firey red and yellow tones there.

Great colours, although the detail has gone on the highlights. Shame the clouds weren't more dramatic. I'm not sure about the right to left composition. 6

Interesting but the coloring throws me off a bit and seems a bit fuzzy
