I tried this about 30 times. Yes it does look like a snapshot, but it was thought out and propped to the best of my ability.

The photo is too busy. There is no real point of interest to the eye. Weak composition, no real intersting angles, lack of subject matter, poor DOF.

The clutter on your desk may be part of the statement, but it tends to distract from the overall effect of the photo. I guess you figured out what it means!

Congratulations on being one of the few who really know what irony means, while making a visually decent photo. The irony in your photo is a different, less obvious irony that still definitely *is* irony. Anyway, I really like the idea of the photo, even if the look could be more attractive.

I'm trying to figure out what kind of camera that is lying there but I can't! What is it? The set up looks a little busy and cluttered but somehow I like it enough to give you a 7. By the way you are not left handed, right?
