To much sky. not enough ballon. Real nice work. 7

The foreground trees nicely frame the subject and makes a pleasing composition. The colors are nice (except in the frame you added). The midtones are a bit washed out and it could use a little sharpening.

Very nice capture. This would look beautiful without the brown border. Maybe just white or a pale neutral shade would enhance it better... IMO...

While I don't mind OOF foregrounds, this one seems a bit much. Maybe a tighter crop would have helped.

A nice shot, but I'm finding the blurred foliage too distracting. It seems too heavy for the sky and balloon. I wonder if you could have cropped some more.

Good depth of field. The foreground with the foliage, the balloon, the mountain, and the sky. Great division of depth. The balloons' color helps to bring your attention to it and the focus. Only thing I don't like is the color of your frame. Color is a bit distracting. Seems a bit dark to frame the sky.

Great viewpoint which really adds to the feeling of ballooning, giving a relationship with the ground. There's a bit too much intrusive foliage though.

Lose the dirty border though - it traps your otherwise free-spirited image.

The border is not really my cup of tea, it competes too much with the photo itself. Otherwise a good pic which gives me a feeling of silence and serenity.

Well framed with the leaves.

I personally don't care for the brown border with this shot.

In my mind, the foreground should be used to show depth and/or act as a frame to the subject. I don't think the lovely flowers fit this. They obscure the mountains in the background and they don't have the symetry to frame the balloon. The balloon itself, as well as the sky, is washed out.

Color is very nice. The foreground is very distracting and most of it could of been cropped out. You sure did hit the challenge on the head.

Good catch, although the colors are kind of bland. If you can work on it for a post-challenge entry, you could fix this with curves, levels and/or brightness-contrast.

Nice use of foreground elements.
