Increased saturation on bottom layer by 20. B&W layer shadow - 29, mid tone -3, highligtht 11. Erased B&W layer selectiveley. Light sharpen after image sizing. (Cloned out distracting blemish)

If I were that snake I would be freaked out by being held by a creature that had no color, but if I were the kid I suppose I would be enthralled by the snake's amzing hue. Hmm so much going on in the photo, (technically really well done by the way)

would have been nicer to see the snakes head. see no sense in partial desat, too
