Nice. Definite ribbon.

Very cool concept. I feel that the tableleg is a bit distracting. Great contrast in the shot. Love the fine details in the wastebasket. Can't wait to hear about your settings and way you capture the shot.

Intriguing picture. How was it done without using computer tricks like importing or copying the paper balls?
10/03/2003 01:51:03 AM
Now how the heck did you do this??? Well done!
10/02/2003 10:08:30 AM
How did you do this with one image?

Yeah..... Great interpretation of the challenge.... 10

I can feel the frustration - nicely laid out

How fast does your shutter go?

Very nicely done.

Don't know how you managed this one but the effect is very interesting. The table is kind of in an awkward position and is a little distracting. Maybe a different shooting position might have been more enhancing.

Technically interesting. I could do this with my film cameras, but never even thought about attempting something like this on a digital camera.

Like the idea. Lighting is off. The shadow behind the desk leg is distracting. The heavy wood desk doesn't go with the delicate wire can. I think I can see the holes created for the wire/string on the tossed paper. Would like to have seen a smoother transition with the tossed paper. More of a motion blur.

cool shot! I would love to learn how this was done.

Nice strobe shot. Very unusual take on this challenge, but totally accepted! 9 Rob the Swash

Very different, very unusual. I think your very creative and clever. Kinda like this one.

I'd love to know how this image was made, I really like it! Definitely tells a story, and I like the warmth of the brown wood against the starkness of the white paper and black wastebasket. I also like the bit of color with the reddish pink paper.

Well captured! Very sharp, too.

Creative! How in the world did you do it? I like the simplicity of the shot.

I have the exact same garbage can! Cool stroboscopic effect. But unfortunately this is "falling" to me and not "in flight".
09/29/2003 01:07:01 AM
Makes me wonder if you have them on a string or used a timed exposure, can't wait to find out!
09/29/2003 12:58:42 AM
how did you get those 9 idential balls of paper to fall sequentially? :-)

nice shot, although i think it would have been very much strengthened if the carpet and furniture were not in the photo and it was just the paper falling into the basket with no (ie: black) background.

Very interesting shot. Clarity is great.

Excellent! Any chance of a "how did they do that?" even if just a quick one in a private message?
