 Day 9 of 30 day self portrait. I figured if my kids could be in yesterdays why not one with my husband. i didnt mean for him to be the only one in focus but I only had a small amount of shots to choose from because he said it hurt. and had some in better focus but he kept trying to put his tongue in my mouth which was not part of my idea. so all those were un usable lol. so I need a model who will let me hurt them as much as it takes for as long as it takes. any volunteers?? lol Just kidding!

Edit to add: yes, I really am just THAT freakin' pale. I'm not wearing anything but lipstick in this pic. I lightened him a little to try and get a more eveness throughout the photo but our skin tones just differ too much for that. he tans. i dont.

Ouch! Your commentary's hilarious, esp., about Elvis' tongue. The lipstick and shot (aside from pain) are really sexy. Don't know about the border, though ...

THAT is a helluva shot. This recreates a moment of intimacy and abandon. Who cares about the toning, its the passion exhibited, the giving over that can be heady and intoxicating and damn if you didn't just get it right here. The lipstick on the cheek really adds something to this shot for me; the stubble not so much but its the action of seeing his lip stretched out in your teeth that makes this shot work. Fantastic recreation of such a subtly powerful moment in a relationship.

The guy who hangs clothes from his nose thinks this hurts? :-) This is excellent. The fact that he's in sharp focus and you are not really actually works quite well. It's the yin/yang of the male/female thing. The difference in skin tone plays to that, too. And yes, this would have worked very well for Chemistry!

Amor apacheeeeeeeee!!!! I loveeeeee it!!!!! Biting is good! now.. I have to search for a hubby (well... a boyfriend at least!) to do a shot like this jijiji...Really really cool shot, I love the kiss on his cheek, and the red lipstick (I am also that pale..red just makes you look paler.. but pale is also cool) :D

Technicalities aside, this is a picture of you and your husband that is sure to give both of you wonderful memories for years to come... dont even begin to worry what ANYONE thinks about it.
