Love it and the colours are just brilliant in the shot, the water colours always produce great effects. Only thing I would have change in this show was maybe used a larger container and zoom in so that one couldn't tell this was a glass. I think that would have greater overall impact in the photography. Still, nice work!

This is not a hydrophobic effect.... Nice colors, contrast, and sense of movement.

Great capture and idea. I can imagine How many exposures this took.

I like your shot. But if you'd left out the borders of the glass this one would be much better imho. Anyway: nice job!

Not sure if this is really hydrophobic, but I like it anyway. Colors are good and clear.

great colors, composition could use some work, perhaps off-centered would have been better?

A bigger vessel with cropping of the sides would have been a stronger comp. IMO.

Maybe a tighter crop without the glass. Nice colors though.

I don't really think this is a hydrophobic effect, but rather diffusion, but I like the photo

Great lighting and colour. I really like the fact that the glass can be seen on the sides and top. This would be an easy shot to crop so just the main image is there, but it adds so much to the shot the way you have it.

This demo is used to illustrate diffusion and/or density with water soluble food coloring. -- This is a really good image despite the title.

Not so. Hydrophobic molecules do not attract water - they tend to float away from it. Hydrophilic molecules dissolve and become saturated in water - like the dyes used in your photo. Nice colours. Just get the title right. 0/10 for chemical knowledge. 7 out of 10 for a pretty photo.

Nice colors and lighting, well done.

How about though going in closer, so you wouldn't even see the glass ?
