My office is opposite my dining room, so I've been looking and noodling on this for days. I even wrote down what each person would be doing. Spent 20 minutes setting the scene, includin thinking about what each person would hold. Tucked all the 'hold' items out of site & shot a 'neutral'. Then shot first person (in front) - 3 takes. 2nd person (the dealer) - 3 takes. The rest of them were one take each. Changed the hair and shirt for each. PS time was 35 minutes. Total work - ~3 hours.

I like it that finally someone thought of the novel idea to change their clothes when shooting this kind of shot...really like it.

Would be better if they were playing strip poker -- and you'd only have to convince one of them! ;-)

You did a great job with this, Cindi. Love all the different clothing, hair styles and expressions. The more of these I see here, the more tempted I am to do one of my own. Excellent!

Oiy cindi, you've set the bar very very high with this! Extra well done ma'am, from lighting to editing to dealing yourself a straight flush!

You have very good posture, that will go a long way later in life :)

Every Cindi is perfectly lit and in focus - did you re-focus each shot, and if so, how did you do that without disturbing the camera position?

I'll go back to snapshots of my feet, I think.... :-)

:D Deb, thanks for the compliment. I'm pretty proud of this one. I did use mask/erase to pull the layers together. Once I figured out what I was doing it went amazingly fast. I didn't refocus for each exposure though. I had the camera set with a deep enough DOF to include the whole table (Cindi back left is a bit soft). Each time all I had to do was to click the remote release to get the timer going and dash into position. Light was the celing fixture over the table plus my flash with Gary Fong pointed at the celing.

This is great Cindi. At first, I thought it was a couple of different people, not just you. But I did just wake up.

great details in this, I like how each drink kind of goes with each outfit. Poor cindi on the far left though, she has no drink and looks alittle sad :P. excellent multi exposure.
