I actually think the tilt brings a lot more to the pic.. It would have been boring and average without the fence or the tilt..

Horizon is not crooked... it is a HILL! Titles are subjective... I thought we were voting on the photograph...

Post voting: Another photo where the public thought the horizon was out of kilt - not right, sorry! It is a hill sloping down to the left, one only has to look at the angles in the fence and the grass to see that.

Something funky about the tones here, and a little soft.

This is very nice. Color would have made it look very average. 6

This is a great black and white. I think it would also look good with just a tad bit of color.

Nice b&w...like your composition with fence.

fence really detracts from this image, and I think I want that horizon line totally horizontal - love the location, very pretty

I really like this shot, i do not like the crooked horizon tho, even tho it is likely a hill. I find it and the fence running to the left take the focus off the tree, to the right. Not bad black and white.

the lines of the fence lead right out of the photograph. i think the composition might have been strengthened if you stepped forward a bit and left the fence out.

The B&W treatment is perfect here. I love the lighter area highlighting the tree. Well done.

This photo has such atmosphere and the fence only adds to it without taking away from the subject, the tree. Also well suited to B/W

i love the desolate feeling to this one. the processing is great as well.

The fence really boosts this image and the tree hanging silently in the background has a strong presence. Nice work. 8.

the darkness on the top left throws the balance of the sky off. for me that's the only detracting thing. nice comp, use of b&w. 6

Beautiful shot. I would love to have seen this in color.

Nice one, but would have like the horizon to be horizontal and not on an angle, as it competes with the angle of the fence, which I love.

Simply stunning. Love the fence as an added feature. 8
