FYI,
Some folks here in Colorado predict heavy snow winters by the loss of pine needles. The orange needles will be lost prior to winter. Heavy snows and lots of needles mean broken tree branches. So the trees somehow know (God's great creation) when a heavy snow winters will occur and they drop some of their needles before winter (lessen the load). This is a healthy ponderosa Pine. That's why I titled the shot, so you can learn non-photo fun stuff too. Van |

I like the line of the branches and the way the dead and dying needles are grouped in the center. The title could be better though. 4 |

Maybe, maybe not? Does something about this fir tree imply a snowy winter is coming? I like the lush green needles. Your depth of field is pretty decent. |
