Stunning composition. Windmill to tree placement exactly on.

Good colors and subject, but I think the framing would have been better if you had gotten a bit lower and brought the horizon on the third line and made the tree stand out out clearer agains the sky, and thereby gotten the building into a less clutered area of the frame.

This photo would make a beautiful print. Good luck in the challenge. I vote 8.

Great find. Good use of DOF and the windmill in the back is a nice "country bumpkin" touch. Good luck!

This tree offered you the absolute perfect opportunity to frame that windmill between those curved branches. Looks like you just had to take two steps to the right to do it. Close your eyes and picture me kicking you for missing the chance. Other than that, nice colors. Lighting is a bit harsh. That field probably glows at sunset. Tree itself has an interesting shape, but not a whole lot else going on. Close your eyes, here it comes again...

Agriculture has always been a strong reason for deforestation. Perhaps this is a good example too. Nice red soil there.

Where the cultivation of grain outweighs the value of a trees. Good composition and colours

I like this dead tree and your DOF. I only wish it had not been oversaturated. This would have been a wonderful B&W.

Excellent!!! I love the colours, I love the sad little tree, I love that there is something in the background, gives us a contrast between man and nature, living and dying, etc.

I like the composition and the windmill slightly out of focus. I think it seems a touch overexposed. If it were done at a different time of day, the overal color range might be more intense. You might've been able to fix that with an adjustment of curves and some burn here and there. Overall, nice but could use a little tweaking to my eye. 7

personally, something like "give me a 'P'!" seems like a more obvious title. the tree here is so human-esque; i love how it really has bodiness and personality. i'm also glad you avoided the temptation to have the wind thing in the background inside the arms of the tree - good composition decision there. other aspect i like is the red soil; very photogenic and almost martian; gives the whole thing an otherworldly kind of look. very nice indeed - 8.

it would have been interesting to get the windmill centered in the branches...
