 These are test tubes (a gift to drink shots out of!) that I filled with coloured water. With DPC help I learnt a LOT about water in glass in taking this shot. The end results were not quite what I had in my mind. I thought I would try this tight crop as the colours are bright and DPC voters seem to like that :)

its a nice image. Just doesn't give me a very scientific feel. Could be rolls of metalic wrapping paper. Thats what I first thought went I saw the image before reading the title. Maybe angle off the top of the tubes or the bottom so one might be able to tell easier.
