This Cicada was under attack by a Cicada killing wasp. I originally was trying to get a photo of them together but the wasp didn't want to hang around. The Cicada was stunned, but still alive, so was an agreeable model.

I almost titled this 'Puppy Dog Eyes', or something similar as the face reminds me of a sad puppy. ;^)

At first, I couldn't see the eyes. Adorable? Not sure, but I do like this macro shot. Soft colors of the background and foreground work well here.

contrast can probably be bumped up a bit....otherwise an interesting shot...I've never seen one of these things before

Interesting.. title doesn't appeal to me but I try not to judge an image by it's title.. I dont' know what the hell this bug is - comp is nice 5
