What a powerful image! The pattern of the squares is dynamic, the floor contrasting with yet complementing the wall/door. the little boos stands out strikingly because of it's angle. The off focus works perfectly to set a mood. It is very interesting how the weight of the picture, the heavy guy, the heavy mood, is all in the upper left quarter if the image. Yet the strength of the visual patterns in the other areas is enough to balance the whole. I rarely see so much weight placed at the top of a picture, usually the weight is at the bottom. I think that is what makes this looks so unusual and so effective. I really love it 10 |
