Nice and sharp...was the moon high in the sky when you took this?

Super nice - one of the best I've seen without using a telescope. You didn't use a telescope did you? Hmmm...ok, one of the best I've seen without using multiple images stacked together...there...I feel better...10

This is one of the best in this challenge. Could be used in a science textbook. I'm giving it a 10!

Excellent quality image. Great lunar detail. Remarkably, you are one of the few people I've voted on so far that actually met the challenge as stated. Kudos to you for that. It is surprising how far off almost everyone is at positioning their main subjects correctly.

Umm, WOW! Finally got some use out of the old 1500mm lens, eh? That's a really great shot. 7

This is a great shot of the moon! I can only dream of such a shot!
However, as there is literally nothing else, I think it wouldn't matter where it is placed - well, I wouldn't have chosen it for this challenge.

Nice detail but it almost looks too oversharpened.

Amazing close-up of the moon! That must be some high-powered telescope at your disposal! Is it located at the top of a big hill or mountain with a building surrounding its base? ;)

Wonderful. I love the fact that it's not quite a full moon. Gives a nice feeling to the photo.
