Had this pegged as a shot by Dahkota considering her past gorilla work. I am still trying hard to catch a great shot like this of the gorillas at our zoo. Excellent work here - as well as all of your zoo pics.

Very nice. Great capture. Great detail and sharpness of focus. the colors are spot on and the gaze was a good grab. Not knowing whose this is I think I could guess whose work it would be. Great shot. 8 for now.

this epitomizes the way a visual image can appeal to cognition. We see straw in hand and straw in mouth. Our cognition connects them, causing a sort of spark. Your composition is like building a fire to burn from that spark (hand in front of straw, face behind straw, knuckles on a thirds intersection, eyes on the opposite intersection). Well done.

Terrific phot. I love the composition. Definetly one of the best here. Perhaps a bit too sharp for this resolution?

I justed voted on the girl in the water shot and to come to this is a bit of a shock. I do however feel this is a much better fit the the challenge. Lacks a bit of contrast but there is good detail and this is an entertaining shot. Best of luck. 9

Very nice! I like the DOF, the sharp focus on the subject, and the catch lights in the eyes.
