Hello from the Critique club, my name is Jon Rowe, and i will be looking at your image this evening :)

Composition/Lighting : i really like this photo. as far as lighting goes, i believe it's spot on. seems like you had enough light, and i love the softness of this photo. i believe the only think i would do differently is it seems that the neatimage look on the face was too much. it looks "too perfect", which is something i struggle w/ as well. almost plastic or "ken and barbie"-ish if that makes sense? maybe doing what you did on its own level, but taking the opacity down will help show some of the "blemishes", but at a lower rate to where you get the smooth look you ere going for.

Challenge : with an overused technique such as selective desaturation, it's always great to see one that actually uses it well and for what it was meant. i think selective desat for this was a great choice, and very well done. the pastels are really brought to the attention of the viewer, and done so in a great and non-overbearing manner. great job :)

Conclusion : great job, really like this image. you had a great score, and should be proud of this image. very nice job:)

Keep on shootin!

Good luck on your future challenges:)

I love the taste of those things but they're a pain to get off! Don't like your spot desat here though (sorry) - it's too heavy-handed and would have made sense anyway without the grey skin.

This is good, but if it were more in focus, it would be great. 7.

cool - I like that the pastels are the only colors you've chosen to be in the photo

I remember candy beads! I like the use of selective color here. The childs expression is fantastic too.

good as a selective desat, but the shot is quite blurry

Ahhh...those candy necklaces. I can still taste them.
I like the softness and the desaturation works very well.
