 Shot taken at Folly Beach, SC of an early bud on a beautiful flowering tree. This was the first macro shot taken with my new camera and I love the crisp pink and green tones.

Thanks to everyone who made comments! I appreciate your honesty in regards to the picture... there were several people who saw the vision of what I was trying to create but didn't quite achieve. The breakdown is definately in my (lack of) knowledge in Photoshop. The shot lost a lot of definition and got noisey as it was saved as required for submission. The original shot is 10 times the picture that this turned out to be... lesson learned!

I struggle for a focal point. Color seems a bit oversaturated imo

overall image looks a little grainy, i imagine since it was a macro shot...? good colors though

I think that the eye instantly moves to the bud in the front which is the bud out of focus... then you notice the larger ones in focus.. cool idea though.
